The aim of the game is always to have fun. Some of us play for the sheer joy of it, some as a social thing and some of us, well, some of us just like to win....
For those of us who are motivated by victory above all else there is only one prize worth winning - the fabled Golden Gnome. This lovingly crafted statue, constituted entirely of golden pixels, is awarded every year to the person who has won most games. Scoring is simple, one point for a win and half a point for a tie or for a shared win in a co-operative or team game. There are no points for second place - as Ben always says, second place is first last.
